Meet Your Village Founder
I'm Becky Stromsdorfer — mom of 5, grandmother, and founder of My Homeschool Village. I've walked this road all the way through, from kindergarten to graduation, and I built this village because no parent should have to figure it out alone.
Here is what 22 years taught me, and it is the thing I will not move on: childhood is short, and it is not something you catch up on later. Somewhere along the way we started handing kids a workload no childhood was built to hold, and calling it a good education. I watched what it cost. I was not willing to pay it with my own five, and I am not willing to let you pay it with yours.
So everything inside MHV — the curriculum, the classes, the community — got built around one rule: your children still get to be children, and they still come out of here able to read, think, build, and lead. Those two things were never in conflict. Everyone just stopped trying to do both.
And when you need help inside the Village? It's me who answers. I'm on live twice a week, every week, giving one-on-one guidance. New members can't believe it. I can't believe they'd expect anything less.
